Is Hypoglycemia the Root Cause of Chronic Stress? Rejuvenate Podcast ep. 25

Hypoglycemia is a lot more common than most people realise. In fact, it may be the root cause of many forms of stress and emotional upset, as well as fatigue and low energy. Why? Because your body has to use stress chemicals, like Cortisol and Adrenaline, to raise blood sugar, if it gets low and if you don't quickly consume carbs.

Plus, if unaddressed, it can lead to more serious issues like Insulin Resistance and Type 2 Diabetes.

But what causes hypoglycemia? Why is it largely ignored by the medical community?

If high Insulin is the cause, what makes this happen? And why is Insulin rarely tested for?

And most importantly, if you have hypoglycemia, what do you do about it? Is eating frequently throughout the day the best strategy? Should you try Intermittent Fasting? Keto? High Protein? Low Carb?

In this video Elwin Robinson looks at the root causes, including going deep on the subject of Insulin, what it does, and how we can get ourselves back to balance so we are not constantly relying on stress chemicals to give us energy.
